He likes Angel, huh? A*Men, not Angel per se, I presume? Interesting... well, if he likes that, I would suggest Lolita Lempicka au masculin, or Rochas Man. These are pretty good gourmands, in the same class as A*Men.
Another suggestion would be Fahrenheit, if he can stomach it, it's strong and masculine.
The first rule though, is have him wear the perfume first before buying. Or, buy samples or decants first, then if he likes it, you can buy the bigger bottle.
