Ah yes, the famed Canadian public health system. The one which the premier of Newfoundland and Labrador chose to ditch because, as he put it, his heart, his choice.
Mr. Premier Danny Williams couldn’t wait in line for nine months because his doctors told him he’d be dead in four so it was off to … where? … that’s right, the United States! Of course, if he’d stayed in Canada, he could have jumped the line (or queue as those batty Canadians say). Yup, he could have jumped the line because, as we all know from reading Animal Farm, some animals are more equal than others.
Hi action speaks louder than anything he could say: when the rubber meets the road, the road goes to America.
