Ordinarily, I can’t stand women with husky, raspy voices. Not that anyone—particularly the female sex of the husky-voiced persuasion—gives a shit about this my particular form of neurosis, but there is one particular strain of husky-voiced females in which I allow this aberration: Spanish singers.
