Ovation TV has some brilliant programming; the other day, I recorded then sat with a great Scotch and watched a history of Blues music. Personages with quite interesting names from ‘Blind Willie’ McTell to Howlin’ Wolf, this contains some of my most favorite music of all time.
There’s something about the lonesome quality of that guitar twanging to the accompaniment of the scratchiness of a 78rpm that gets me every time.
