This one had me splitting my sides … for those who don't know, it's from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and the two are tripping on psychedelics, one of them (Gonzo) pretty bad.
They're both sitting at a bar in a Las Vegas casino. The bar is on a merry-go-round, garish lights, the works. Gonzo (Benicio del Toro) is bent over double, wildly spilling his drink and hiccupping all the while trying to contain his swimming brain when Duke (Johnny Depp) utters those memorable words in a trademark dead-pan, staccato rhythm.
del Toro's tortured raspy come back is achingly beautiful and, considering his state, so fucking appropriate: Don't tell me these things. Not now man.
Haha! Can't you just feel that pain?
