I've always liked the forceful , Valkyrie.
Anyway, the new movie of the same name directed by Bryan Singer and starring Tom Cruise looks to be quite good. The only problems I have with it is Tom Cruise himself. He's too “round,” too boyish. There is a certain austere ascetic quality about Germans of that era that is missing. The American accent also disturbs the plausibility of the movie.
Don't get me wrong, I'll still see it.
Best part of the trailer is the line by Eddie Izzard's character: “When the SS catch you, they will pull you apart like warm bread.” Love that line.
